Hyundai i20 price in Nepal 2022
The new generation of Hyundai i20 has been launched in India with the company’s ‘Sensuous Sportiness’ design. The all-new Hyundai i20 fourth-generation hatchback is available in two petrol engines and diesel engine variants. The Hyundai offers the new i20 in four trims namely Magna, Sportz, Asta, and Asta (O) with five transmission options, three engine options, and six color options. The launch of the new Hyundai i20 was expected a few months ago but it got delayed due to the impact of Coronavirus.

New Hyundai i20 Features
Engines
The new Hyundai i20 is available with two petrol and one diesel engine option. The 1.2-liter petrol variant is powered with 83 bhp and 115Nm torque four-cylinder engine. Another available petrol engine is a 1.0-liter, three-cylinder turbo that produces 120hp and 172nm of torque. The diesel engine on the other hand comes with 1.5-litre, four-cylinder engine with 100hp.
Transmission
The 1.2-liter petrol engine variant comes with a 5-speed manual and a CVT automatic gearbox whereas the 1.0-liter version features 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox and iMT (clutch-less manual) gearbox. The new i20 diesel version features a 6-speed manual gearbox.
Mileage
As per the company, the 1.2-liter petrol variant of the new Hyundai i20 provides 20.35kpl mileage with the manual gearbox and 19.65kpl with the CVT automatic gearbox whereas the 1.0-liter turbo petrol offers 20.25kpl with the DCT gearbox and 20kpl with the iMT. The 1.5-liter diesel version has a fuel efficiency of 25.2kpl as claimed by the company.
Design
The all-new Hyundai i20 is built with a much sportier and sharper look than the Elite i20 version. The company says the new i20 is made with a ‘Sensuous Sportiness’ design with a new and wider ‘cascading grille’. Besides, the car features a new headlight and DRL design along with new taillights (with angular Z-shaped LED inserts)
Color Option
The new Hyundai i20 is available in six color options- Polar White, Typhoon Silver, Titan Grey, Fiery Red, Starry Night and Metallic Copper. Besides, it is also available in Polar White with Black Roof and Fiery Red with Black Roof.
Technology
The Asta (O) version of the new Hyundai i20 is equipped with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system featuring Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Hyundai’s BlueLink connection. This version also features a digital instrument cluster, 7 speaker quality Bose sound system, sunroof, wireless phone charger, and ambient lighting.
Safety
The new i20 is equipped with lots of safety features including 6 airbags, ABS, electronic stability control, vehicle stability management, hill start assist, and many more. The Hyundai company claims the car is built with 66 percent high-quality strength steel for better crash protection.
