MAW Enterprises, the authorized distributor of Skoda vehicles in Nepal, has launched the all-new Skoda KAROQ. Skoda KAROQ follows the design similarities with its flagship model Skoda KODIAQ with boldface, muscular stance, and dynamic proportions. It is a new SUV, completely extending Skoda’s SUV portfolio in the Nepali market. Skoda KAROQ offers modern design, intelligent connectivity features, and class-leading safety.
DESIGN OVERVIEW.
The new SKODA KAROQ is inspired by Czech crystal, SUV is the model of refinement. The distinctive SKODA grille its fog lamps and sharply cut headlamps help light the way when off-roading. With the sideshow that lifts the appearance with angular wheel arches and protective sill covers, there’s no mistaking the KAROQ for anything but an SUV. The rear design of the SUV with Cat’s eye reflectors in the bumper and the iconic wedged-shaped rear lights work to further illuminate KAROQ’s lines.
The KAROQ has been thoughtfully designed, including the exterior lights comes with a complete LED system. The LEDs located on the underside of the front doors create the SAKODA logo, illuminating the entry area. The LED headlamps offer high-performance and high energy efficiency. The AFS (Adaptive Frontlight System) adjusts the lighting intensity to specific conditions, while the main headlamps boast an eye-catching integrated strip of LED daytime running lights. Under poor light conditions, the LED fog lamps come into their own, to make it safer.
INTERIOR & COMFORT.
The KAROQ’s interior was designed of smarts and style, it’s packed with intuitive tech. The rear seating system is comprised of the three back seats. Each one can be folded down or removed completely independently, giving you plenty of flexibility. With all three folded down you get a luggage capacity of 1,605 litres. KESSY (Keyless Entry, Start/Stop & locking system) features a Start/Stop button on the steering.

PERFORMANCE.
The KAROQ turbo engine offers triple intimidation of modern, dynamic, and economical. The 2.0 TDI/105KW(143PS) diesel engine has a turbocharged inline 4 cylinder engine. This engine produces a maximum power of 143 PS and a maximum torque of 320 Nm at 1750-3000 rpm. The power is transmitted to the road by the front-wheel-drive (FWD) with a 6-speed automatic gearbox offering high power, fuel efficiency, and features lower CO2 emissions. The KAROQ is equipped with an automatic 6-speed DSG (Direct Shift Gearbox).
