MAW Enterprise launched Yamaha’s latest FZ edition, the FZS V3 X-Connect in Nepal in a launch event on 1st November 2021. MAW, the official distributor of Yamaha for Nepal, was desperately planning to launch this latest model.
The bike lovers and automobile enthusiasts were also eagerly waiting for the launch of the new Yamaha FZS V3 X-Connect and now it is here in Nepal.
This latest model of the FZS V3 comes with some enhancements in its technology, style, and performance.
The company claims the FZS V3 X-Connect is the lightest bike with just 135 kgs. It comes with a 140 section radial tire, side stand cut off, BSVI compliant, and up-gradation in ABS.

The most important update in this latest edition is the X-Connect feature that allows riders to connect the bike with their smartphone for various purposes.
The bike is blended up with Bluetooth Connectivity as a component of standard equipment. Yamaha says, “Aiming to bring potential benefits through a host of safety and practical features to the customers, the new FZS V3 X-Connect is introduced with “Bluetooth enabled technology.”
The “Bluetooth enabled technology” offers six features altogether after it is matched up with the “Yamaha Motorcycle Connect X” app on your mobile. The app is available on Google Play Store and iOS App Store for free.
What is X-Connect?
The X-Connect is a technological feature installed on the bike to allow riders to connect their smartphone with the technology via Bluetooth. This technology contains features including Answers Black, E-Lock, Locate My Bike, Riding History, Hazard, Parking Record, and much more.
The Answers Black feature makes the bike indicators start blinking and the horn start beeping. The ‘E-Lock system’ allows riders to set an e-lock pattern for the turn indicator switch. You can set an e-lock pattern and can unlock your bike even without access to the X-Connect app using this feature. Until and unless people fail to identify your secret pattern, your motorcycle is safe.
Another handy feature in the latest FZS V3 X-Connect is ‘Locate My Bike’ in which the bike indicates illuminate for 10 seconds continuously. It is appropriate when locating your bike is jam-packed and exulted parking locations.
The next feature ‘Riding History’ allows you to record and view the individual trip details of every ride. Likewise, the Parking Record feature lets you connect with your V3 and also displays a route map from your present location to where you have parked it.
The ‘Hazard Feature’ lets indicators start blinking continuously to let other riders be notified on the road in the case of an emergency.
